Day 1 Arusha -Lake Manyara
Pick up from your Hotel in Arusha and depart for Ngorongoro
Conservation area and decend to the crater afternoon game drive, dinner and
overnight at Ngoro Sopa Lodge
- Day 2 Full Day Ngoro Crater
- After breakfast, taking a picnic lunches
with you descend down to the crater floor for a full day of
tracking game with your guide. The crater is 670m deep and 260km
square wide, making it the largest in the world. The crater
contains all the big five, hippos, cheetah, antelopes and
spotted hyena. Black rhino and leopard can be seen by luck as
the two are extremely shy and elusive. The birds seen here
include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork,
bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, black smith
plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. Other game such
as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog,
gnu, zebra and hare can be seen with relative ease
- dinner and overnight at Ngoro Ngoro Sopa
Lodge.
Day 3: Ngorongoro - Arusha
After breakfast depart from the crater arriving in Arusha by
lunch time with a drop off to the hotel of your choice or back to
the airport
