DAY 1: Moshi-  Londorossi Park Gate

Elevation (ft): 7,800ft to 9,500ft

Distance: 6 km

Hiking Time:3-4 hours

Habitat: Rain Forest

Pick up from your hotel at 8.00 am and drive to Londorossi Gate, which takes about 4 hours, where you will complete entry formalities. Then drive to the Lemosho trailhead (another hour to reach the trailhead). Upon arrival at trailhead, we eat lunch, then commence through undisturbed forest woods which winds to the first camp site.

DAY 3 Mti Mkubwa camp (2750m) - Shira 2 camp (3840m)
Hiking time: 6.5h
Habitat: Moorland
After breakfast, start the climb cross the remaining rain forest towards the giant moorland zone. Today is a full day trek with an altitude gain of 610m. After lunch we cross into the Shira Caldera, a high altitude desert plateau which is rarely visited. Shira is the third of Kilimanjaro's volcanic cones, and is filled with lava flow from Kibo Peak. Overnight Shira 1 Camp at 3505m.

DAY 3: Shira (3840m) - Lava Tower (4630m) - Barranco camp (3950m)
Hiking time: 7h
Distance: Approximately 15 kms
Habitat: Semi desert
After breakfast continue hike east across the Shira Plateau past the Shira Cathedral towards Shira Two camp. You only gain 214 feet in elevation - this allows you to acclimatize slowly to the altitude. The views of the plateau are nothing less than spectacular. Overnight at Shira 2 Camp 3720m

DAY 4: Barranco camp (3950m) - Barafu camp (4550m)
Hiking time: 7h
Distance: Approximately 13kms
Habitat: Alpine desert

From the Shira Plateau, we continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As we continue, our footpath direction changes to the South East towards the Lava Tower, called the "Shark's Tooth." Shortly after the tower, we come to the second junction which brings us up to the Arrow Glacier at an altitude of 16,000ft. We now continue down to the Barranco Hut at an altitude of 13,000ft. Here we rest, enjoy dinner, and overnight. Although you end the day at the same elevation as when you started, this day is very important for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day.

DAY 5: Barrafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp.
Very early breakfast, then start for the summit at 1:00am first to Stella point and then to Uhuru peak (5895m ). It is recommended to take few minutes for Photo, then descend to Mweka camp for dinner and overnight .

DAY 6: Lemosho Climbing Route Mount Kilimanjaro Direction
Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Elevation (ft): 13,100ft to 15,300ft
Distance: 4 km
Hiking Time: 4-5 hours
Habitat: Alpine Desert

The day is spent in descending down to the park Gates - Overnight at hotel.

Tour Price: US$ 1,740 per person sharing.
